For students already studying at an institution participating in one of the Nordplus or Erasmus exchange programmes, please contact the international coordinator at your school for information regarding programme requirements. All applications made for one of the above exchange programmes MUST be proved and forwarded to KMH by the international coordinator at your school. Please do not send the application form to KMH yourself. Exchange students don't have to take part in the entrance examinations (unless they want to do so) but instead have to submit a high quality recording together with the application and required papers. This recording will be part of the selection procedure deciding which applicants to admit.
The deadline for exchange student applications for Erasmus programmes is FEBRUARY 15 each year and for the Nordplus programme MARCH 1 each year (with exception of all conducting programmes where the deadline is JANUARY 15 each year also for exchanges). Applications including all submitted material (see below) must be received by KMH (via regular mail) no later than those dates. From 2013 all Nordplus applications should be submitted through a new on-line system, NOAS, which will be available from February 1, 2013. (Please contact the international coordinator at your school for information on NOAS or come back here after February 1, for a link to NOAS).
Application form (KMH application form or the AEC Erasmus form or NOAS on-line registration)
Certified copies of all transcripts/diplomas relating to previous music education (if applicable)
A learning agreement or a letter of recommendation from a teacher of your main instrument

For Jazz students, the recording shall include one of your own compositions, and at least one piece where you perform a live improvisation of your own (no transcriptions) on your main instrument together with an ensemble/rhythm-section. Conductors and eurhythmic students include a video/DVD and composers should send scores and/or recordings.
