On Thursday, 3 March, KMH hosted a grand concert at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.

Several former and current students performed before an audience of nearly 150 guests. Composer and musician Benny Andersson made a much appreciated guest performance and the concert ended with all artists together performing the ABBA song Thank You for the Music, which led to a standing ovation.

The concert is part of KMH's fundraising campaign and a way to make new contacts in the United States. Among the guests were among others Björn Lyrvall, Ambassador of Sweden, Leif Pagrotsky, Consul General, Torsten Wiesel, Nobel Laureate, Richard Armstrong, Director, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.

During Friday KMH representatives met several institutions providing higher music education in New York  to discuss challenges and future opportunities for collaboration.
