Checklist for lesson or activity on campus

A checklist for you who is responsible for a lesson or activity that involves several people meeting physically.

Before the activity

Going in, passage – avoid crowding

The participants need to be able to spread out. It should not be crowded when you gather outside and enter your room.

Hygien – soap, water and desinfectant

Participants should be able to wash their hands thoroughly, before, during and after the activity.


Set aside time to disinfect tables, chairs or other objects to be used during the activity. Note that some instruments should not be sprayed.

Inform everyone

The participants need to know how to behave before, during and after the activity.

 

If the activity involves a risk that must be managed in a special way, the participants must be informed about it well in advance of the activity. Wind instruments, singing, movement, that there are more than 8 participants or that the schedule is tight might pose such risk.

During the activity

Keeping distance – the most important

Participants should be placed at a distance of two meters if possible. If the activity involves risks, special measures must be taken, such as using visors, plexiglass screens and mouth guards.

Direction – do not sit opposite each other

The risk of infection is greatest when the participants are directed face to face.

Voice and wind instruments

Voice and wind instruments place particularly high demands on adaptation. The musicians should stand with plenty of space around them and use plexiglass screens.

Condensation must be collected

It should be possible to collect and get rid of condensation. Use puppy mats, newspaper or your own cloth.

Ventilation

The room must be ventilated before the activity. The air volume in the room must be sufficient for the number of participants.

Ensure that there are time intervals between lessons in the rooms. Keep the time. Feel free to take breaks during longer sessions.

Desinfectant available

Participants must have access to disinfection during the activity.

Materials – use your own

Do not share materials with each other, such as pen, eraser and music stand.

After the activity

Exit, passage – avoid crowding

Participants must be able to leave the activity and continue to keep their distance.

Keep an eye on the environment outside the room so that participants do not have to encounter other people outside.
