Alasdair Morton-Teng Violoncello Classical Music / Orchestral Masters

Join me on the 9th of May Kl. 18.00 in Nathan Milsteinsalen for my Graduation Recital. I'll be performing two 18th Century cello masterpieces; First, Johann Sebastian Bach?s 4th suite in Eb major for cello solo. Then pianist Georg Oquist will be the orchestral accompaniment for the first movement of Joseph Haydn?s cello concerto no.2 in D major. Tied in with this performance is my research on improvisation in classical cadenzas and how musicians today learn how to perform in an historically informed manner.
