Madara Tupina, viola

Examenskonsert, kandidat klassisk musik

Madara Tupina will portray a rebirth of a lost masterpiece, a love letter, a spiritual prayer and a sparkling youthfulness in her exam concert.

In Jānis Mediņš sonata for viola and piano, she will embody her Latvian nature and play the pervasive melodies that the composer wrote in Stockholm about 60 years ago. Madara will show a more subtle and subdued side of her personality in Kol Nidrei by Max Bruch. You will hear the spark and energy of youth with Mozart's Kegelstatt trio which Madara will perform with her chamber music friends. In addition, a little love story will be told through 8 pieces for viola, clarinet and piano by Max Bruch which is full of soft and light feelings of summer.
