Singing

Ten Hymns from the Swedish Hymn Books:
27:1-2, 67:1-3, 133:1-3, 137:1-3, 353:1-2, 470:1-2, 517:1-2, 527:1-3, 629:1-2, 632:1-2.

Learn them so you can sing them musically, rhythmically and with good phrasing and intonation. At the entrance examination, one of them is chosen by the jury for you to sing a cappella from a melody hymn book.

Remember to include accompaniment for the solo songs you want to sing on the sample. You should know your solo songs by heart.

You should be able to play these hymns and extracts from the mass in four parts wirh pedal. You should sing to your playing.

15 minutes before the examination, you will get an additional hymn or mass excerpt to prepare. In the test, 1-2 a vista hymns are added.

Choral Conducting
