Prints, PaperCut
Each student has a printing account linked to their access card. You can add funds to your printing account through the PaperCut Printing Portal. You must be connected to KMH’s network to use PaperCut.
Note: The printing portal is only available when you are connected to the KMH network.
About PaperCut
Student computers are available at several locations at KMH, including the library and computer rooms. These computers should have the PaperCut client (PCClient) installed. The client helps manage printing and facilitates communication between you and your print jobs.
In the PaperCut client, you can view your current balance and quickly report issues to Servicedesk. The client also provides a direct link to your personal printing account.
If PaperCut is missing or installed but not running, a print job may not be accepted by the receiving server.
There are several different KMH printers available on the network. These printers act as the destination for the different types of print jobs submitted by students.
Whenever a print job is successfully sent to the server, a notification will appear in the PaperCut client. This notification confirms that the server has received your print job.
You can cancel print jobs by logging in to the PaperCut client on the computer. You can also cancel a print job directly at the printer.
Using a private computer?
When printing from a private computer, you can only print documents in Office or PDF format. You can also use PaperCut for this, but you need to follow the specific instructions for web printing.

How to print
Please Note! You must be connected to KMH’s network when using the printers.
Use your personal access card to collect your printouts from one of the printers listed above. Once you have selected “Print” on your computer, the print job will be stored for three days before it is automatically deleted from the server.
First time printing
The first time you print, you may need to link your access card to your printing account. The printer will provide clear instructions on how to associate your card with your printing account.
Once your access card is linked to your printing account, simply hold your access card in front of the card reader on the printer. The card will unlock the printer, allowing you to print your documents or cancel the print job.
Adding funds to your printing account
Your access card is linked to a personal printing account, which can be topped up with funds for printing and copying.
- Go to the PaperCut Printing Portal. You can only access the portal when connected to KMH’s network.
- Log in using your KMH account.
- Select Dibs Payment.
- Choose an amount of SEK 50, 100, or 200, then click Continue.
- Complete the transaction according to the instructions.
Please note: Funds added to your printing account are non-refundable.
New or temporary access card
If you receive a new access card, you must link the new card to your printing account.
If you are using a temporary access card, you can log in manually on the printer’s control panel to access your printing account and print your documents.
You can also use the PaperCut web print, open the 'about section' above for more information on web print.
