Master programmes

The studies on postgraduate level at KMH will deepen your artistic emphasis, develop your technical proficiency further and give you an advanced knowledge in your chosen field of study.

Before starting the studies on postgraduate level, you must have completed an undergraduate study programme of at least 180 ECTS, taken a B.A. in music or acquired corresponding qualifications in your speciality.

KMH offers three second cycle study programmes with tuition in English:

Nordic Performance Master in Folk Music, NoFo

Nordic Performance Master in Jazz, Nomazz

Master in Contemporary Performance and Composition, CoPeCo

For all other programmes the instruction language is Swedish.

Your application must be accompanied by a diploma substantiating your eligibility. For certain profiles you are also required to submit a repertoire list, a portfolio of your work, a video recording or a written account.
